This eye-catching instrument, which until now had been kept in the family, will now be auctioned between May 20 and 22 in New York.
"Smells like teen spirit" ranked number 3 among The Top 100 Videos in History according to MTV, was named by the Guinness Book of Records as the most rotated video by MTV Europe in 2000, in 1992 won the awards for "Best New Artist" and "Best Alternative Artist" at the MTV Video Music Awards and in 2019 surpassed one billion plays on Youtube.
