• Fito Páez presents "Futurología Arlt"

The Argentine singer-songwriter unveiled a new album, this time conducting in 22 instrumental pieces the symphonic orchestra of the Czech Republic in sonorous panoramas that pay homage to Roberto Arlt.

Roberto Arlt wrote it, Fito Paez transformed it into music. This is how Sony Music has presented this new release by the Argentine musician. The album was officially released on March 4, 2022 and is totally inspired by the literature of the great Argentine writer. An album full of styles that many times even sound cinematic, other times tango, rock and electronic music.

The album is part of a trilogy that Paez had already announced since his previous album "Los Años Salvajes" released last year. The symphony in question is none other than "The Czech National Symphony Orchestra", the recordings took place at Traslasierra (Córdoba), Esmeralda (Buenos Aires), El Rancho (Buenos Aires), Spector (Buenos Aires), Cromo Música (Buenos Aires), Fort Music (Buenos Aires), Igloo Music (Los Angeles) and CNSO (Prague) studios.

The first piece known of this work is Amor es dinero/Remo Erdosain, the only sung theme that opens the album and warns about the protagonist of the work and his philosophy in the adventure to be undertaken.

"Enter the sun, wickedness and a rogue life/ the love that goes away and does not return/ The truth, when Remo Erdosain told us that love is money, he simply drew the veil and we could enter/ Buenos Aires, ruffian, when the whole world was a flash", says part of that lyric.

In definition, this album can be called a masterpiece, an album that takes him much further away from the shadow of his great masters with whom he has always been compared. An album that, according to Paez, reflects "shades of Buenos Aires and its universality". Each of the titles of the 22 tracks that embody the new album allude to passages, characters, outcomes of the novel "los siete locos". The sonata "Tema de amor de Elsa y Remo", the progressive "Hipolita baila en La Caverna" and the moving "El tren, el abrazo de la niña, el revólver y el árbol" are jewels that you must listen to.

Undoubtedly, it is an album worth listening to at least once in a lifetime.
