• DONDA: < GOD’s not Finished >

Kanye West usually makes us find in his albums a reason to believe that he is still one of the greatest influences in the global music industry and DONDA is not the exception.

In times when the industry has us used to singles or very short releases periodically, the Atlanta rapper lets us go with a slap in the face with a 27 track, 109 minute album. Appearances and collaborations with other important names in contemporary music such as The Weekend, Jay-Z, Marilyn Manson and Lil Baby further broaden the interesting musical panorama covered by this album.

West follows the line already traced in some previous releases, with his Christian ideology and sounds inherited from Gospel as a flag, all comfortably linked in that hard hip hop that as we already know has worked very well for him until today.

Ye, the producer of this album has done a great job finding the right balance in each of the songs, giving them their own identity and the feeling that each of the collaborations are not out of place. We want to highlight those Organs that are so present in songs like Jail, 24, Remote Control, Off the Grid or Moon with the participations of Kid Cudi and a masterful Don Toliver.

God's plan is not over yet, he assures in "24" with an extraordinary "synthetic" chorus that shapes one of the most worthwhile tracks on this album, we also find that style of voices in "Jaír", a song that reminds us a lot of "In the air tonight" by Phill Collins.

In this release we are going to find three types of songs:

    1. Very noticeable references to Donda West (his mother).

    2. Gospel songs about "Jesus the King".

    3. More modern songs, close to trap and hard hip hip, something that according to our point of view gives him that commercial touch that Kanye had to include to sell this new album, "Believe What I Say" is shaping up to be an excellent single.

DONDA is a work that reflects the artist's struggle to balance his life between his religious ideology and life as a rapper, maybe a little strange to hear very spiritual songs and then find Marilyn Manson and DaBaby, people who are known for preaching the opposite, but this is a post about music and in that, DONDA has a lot to teach.

We are the catalyst for the artist to bring his expression to life and contribute to a cultural renascence.
