• Peter Jackson; Bringing The Beatles Back

The new Beatles documentary compiles never-before-seen footage of the popular British rock band. Footage from studio sessions was captured in this creative process. The band makes an appearance in the documentary by Academy Awards filemaker Peter Jackson. The official release of the documentary consists of three two-hour episodes and will be available on Disney+ from Nov. 25-27.

The original short film compiles more than 60 hours and was captured by Let It Be director Lindsay Hogg in January '69. Inspired by their legendary songs, Jackson tells the story of the Beatles 50 years later.

The documentary's storyline finds the band writing and recording in the studio. In addition, it shows the conflicts that arise as they prepare for their first live concert after two years.

Also included is the Beatles' iconic rooftop performance on London's Savile Row, which marked their last live performance as a band. The performance will be shown for the first time in its entirety to the audience.

It was in December 2020 when Peter Jackson showed a preview of the documentary, which you can watch below.

You're seeing the Beatles in a more intimate way than you ever thought you would in your life. I think it's something slightly more magical." - Peter Jackson, Interview with GQ

Few are the artists who have transmitted to the public the energies that those creative songwriters have been able to generate in the audience. The rock icons were able to contrast those motivations that moved the spirit of the young people.

The revolution they caused in the sound, style and attitude of popular music opened new doors. Although their initial style was highly original, they spent the rest of the 1960s expanding the stylistic boundaries of rock by pushing new musical territories.

They were a band with a very original style.
