As reported this week by Variety, LCD Soundsystem is preparing their return to the music industry, being the soundtrack for White Noise, Noah Baumbach's long awaited new movie. What is already known about this song is that it will bear the name New Body Rhumba and will be the band's first official release since 2017, when they released their last album, "American Dream". For now, we don't have an official release date, but it is expected to be within the next month.
It is expected that their collaboration in this film is just a part of LCD Soundsystem's comeback and that this will be accompanied by a new album or at least an Ep.
With expectations high, the LCD Soundsystem frontman leaves us breathless as he warned that they have no big plans for a world tour, saying that the pressure of these big tours may be too much for them, denoting a tiredness for the dancefloors.
