According to Juan Campodónico, producer of Tú ve (2022), "It was a search from the deepest part of Johansen. I wanted to make an album that was built around Kevin's voice, the guitar and some quite simple elements and leaving spaces. So the first thing we did was to record his voice. We were very surprised by the result of adding few elements and how when we took off and had minimalist arrangements and instrumentation, the voice took on a size that I hadn't heard before".
