• 15 years of The White Stripes' last album

Jack White, on guitar, vocals, bass and piano, and Meg White, on drums and vocals, formed an alternative rock duo called The White Stripes in 1997. Their career includes six albums, including White Blood Cells (2001) and Elephant (2003), the latter featuring one of the band's most famous singles, "Seven Nation Army".

Icky Thump was the first album to be released on the Warner Bros. Records Inc. label. The eponymous song was the first single to be released from the album, and was a huge hit in the UK charts, reaching number 2. The chart singles were followed by "You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do As You're Told)" and "Conquest".
